Coleman (Dallas, TX USA) I am a 20-year-old female, and I was first introduced to Converse All-Star shoes in the 7th grade. Since I was a young child, I have always had trouble buying shoes due to the size of my feet. My feet are small length wise, but none of the shoes in my size are ever able to accomodate the width of my feet. I normally wear a size 7.5 in shoes, but I always have to go up to a 9 or 10 just to make up for this discrepency. Converse are the first shoes I found that are true to size, and I no longer have to go around with floppy clown feet. The shoes are unisex, comfortable for extended wear, and, though they get dirty very easily, a quick wash on the delicate setting in the washer will make them like new again. I have never had to "break in" a pair of these shoes like most new shoes require, so my Converse collection will likely continue to grow. I now own a pair in black, monochrome black, navy, pink, purple, and green. As soon as they wear out (which takes awhile--I am currently wearing a black pair that I bought in 2005 and wear several times a week), I will be sure to invest in more. 1 out of 5 stars 2010-08-04 By Joseph Abello (Los Angeles, CA USA) These shoes provide no ankle support or arch support. I got blisters on my feet just under my toes near the balls of my feet after hours on my feet walking and standing around. I'm never wearing these shoes again and would never recommend them to anyone. These shoes are crap. 5 out of 5 stars 2010-08-03 By RVfanatic I am in my upper 40's and shoe comfort is a must. I paired my Chucks with a pair of Sof Sole insoles and they are soooo comfy. I have not tried to run in them or walk a marathon. Not sure I want to take that risk. I boughy my insoles from Sports Authority for .
